Client kept the recently replaced plank flooring, adding new quartz counters & custom ceramic backsplash in a warmer, more sophisticated palette. Updated hardware, fixtures, & over-sink pendant with warmer colors throughout.

  • Midcentury remodel to take advantage of fantastic views, and create entertaining kitchen & great room. We needed to improve circulation and add function to this unique, multi-level home on heavily wooded acreage in Westlake, TX.

  • Kitchen electrical plan for new construction in north Texas. Ambient lighting throughout, with a well-curated decorative lighting package. Seeded glass (easier maintenance) pendants at the island and sink, along with a surface mounted fixture at butler's pantry. All finished in a brushed gold.

  • Initial Design Consultation

    2-hour initial design consultation to quickly understand client goals. Immediate feedback, using a variety of visual tools. Flat-fee, in-person consultations without trip fee are available within a 50 mile radius of Decatur, TX. Arrangements can be made for those in other areas. This may be all you need to proceed with a contractor - or we can collaborate to define the scope of services you need.

  • Define Scope of Services + Full Programming

    Clear understanding of the opportunities & possibilities of your space. Step-by-step guidance to determine the scope of services needed to achieve your goals. Consider maintenance, durability, aesthetics, and cost of every detail. No scope of work is too small to apply good design principles. Fees are based on project scope, and a customized proposal is prepared for every project.

  • Design Development

    Design development begins with conceptual space planning, which leads to design drawings, including plans, elevations, and 3-dimensional views. Technical drawings are the communication tools of a successful design project.

  • Finish, Fixture, & Lighting Specification

    The architectural space is completed with finishes, fixtures, & lighting. This includes flooring, counters, wall materials, and plumbing fixtures- along with a layered and well-curated lighting package. Digital concept boards supported by real material samples allow clients to see and feel the proposed details of their new spaces. Avoid construction delays and cost overages by planning a detailed project - from design drawings to complete finish & fixture specifications.
